Welcome to the website of Team Iowa!  If you are a Dukes of Hazzard fan, then you've come to the right place.  "Team Iowa" was founded by Alan Hecht and Adam Woodworth on November 11, 2006.  For those of you not familiar with the November 11 date, this is the day in 1978 that the General Lee (Lee 1) took its inaugural flight.  On November 9, 2006, Alan and Adam drove a 1977 Dodge Monaco from Springfield, Illinois to Conyers, Georgia.  Alan's Monaco is none other than a Hazzard County Sheriff's car.  People from throughout the country joined in the festivities as Lee 1, the fully restored original General Lee, was unveiled.  Die-hard Dukes fans with their own squad cars and General Lees made the Conyers Holiday Inn their home for the weekend .  It was during this event where Travis Bell, the founder and president of the North American General Lee Fan Club dubbed Alan and Adam as "Team Iowa."
